Why the Obama-lies about gun rights?

Forget about Fact Check. org, Why won't Barack Obama put it all to rest and just come out and tell people specifically what his stand on the Second Amendment is? Point by point, spell everything out for people and let them decide. Because if he doesn't all they have to go on is his voting record and his website which are directly contradictory. His website says he respects the rights of anglers and fisherment, within the one paragraph track on gun rights. His voting record shows that he supports an unconstitutional handgun ban, a ban on firearms kept in the home, and a total ban on ammunition most commonly used for hunting.
