French and German got it and I got it, but why not our President get it?

From the start of these two wars that GWB created, French, German, and most Americans knew that American Empire was expanding oil field. Now we got our new president who campaigned on anti-war go begging NATO to escalate GWB War. He came home empty handed; no one want to send their kid to die to help American keep its oil fields. Especially before Iraq War, France already enjoyed dealing (secretly or not) with Saddam traded oil for food. France also learned about Hochiminh Trail that North Vietnam used to win Vietnam War, now Taliban is using Pakistan mountain range to win Afghanistan War. So what it is too hard for smart American President to learn this valuable lesson and pull out of that god damned place? Do he still have War Machine Groups pushing behind like they push GWB?
