What illness do I have and how do I cure it?

I have a slightly sore throat and it itches. The back of my throat is scratchy and it feels very dry. I drink a lot of water but it is still dry. My nose is congested and every time I blow my nose, yellow mucous comes out. I keep blowing my nose but my mucous keeps coming and my nose stays congested. What type of illness is this and how do I recover from it? I use to have a fever but I took Tylenol and I don't have a fever anymore.
